Dreamies Cat Treats and Dublin Pride

The Dreamies Cat Treat promotion has now ended but with your help we sold almost 1000 packs, that was just under €300, and due to the incredible amount of support we received, we doubled it to €600. Thank you once again, we couldn't have done it without your help.

In the UK, Dreamies produced by Mars have partnered up with the LGBT Foundation go give something back to the LGBTQ+ community so that they can continue supporting the different challenges they face with regards to mental health. As Mars had not yet partnered with a group in Ireland, we have decided to offer 30 cents to Dublin Pride for every pack we sell during the month of May at Cuddles Pet Store after discussing this with Mars.

Why Dublin Pride?

The past year has been a challenge for everyone. Mental Health has become a major issue across the world.

A lot of people have been adopting pets to help themselves cope during this most difficult time. Pets do make an excellent companion, especially when we are all being asked not to socialise.

A lot of research has been done this past year into the effects of Mental Health across all parts of our society, When we saw the findings of a UK research group, into the Mental Health Challenges facing the LGTQ+ Community on top of the increased stress of Social Isolation, we could not do something to help.

The Pride organisations have helped a lot of people over the years, including Jim & Brendan here. When we saw the opportunity to help, we could not say no.
