Dogs in Distress Rescue Centre

Not all dogs are lucky some end up in rescue shelters due to life changing circumstances and because of this we decided to team up with Dogs in Distress a dog shelter in Ireland so that we can provide a little extra TLC in the form toys & treats to those dogs who are less unfortunate.

About Dogs in Distress

Dogs in Distress short for DID was set up by Marie Hannon 15 years ago, their aim is to temporarily place rescue dogs in foster homes until they find their forever home.

Most of the dogs in their care are those that were not rehomed directly from the pound and as a result were at risk of being euthanised as well as those whose owners cannot look after them due to unforseen circumstancs.

On average Dogs in Distress help between 600 to 700 hundred dogs each year and all of their dogs go on to have a second chance and a better life.
