Importance of filtration

An aquarium filter is crucial for cleaning the water of dirt, debris and any toxic buildup of ammonia and nitrates. It will also aerate the water so that your fish can breathe with ease. Although filters don't do all the work, they do make the life of an aquarium owner a whole lot easier.
